MILWAUKEE BREWERS HITTING 4 THE CYCLE

Date, Time, and Location

The 5th annual Hitting 4 the Cycle benefit bike ride will be hosted on Saturday, August 24 at 1:30pm, rain or shine. The starting line will be located in Miller Park’s Uecker Lot. (east of the stadium). Participants are encouraged to arrive between 1:00pm-1:15pm on the day of the ride. The 25 and 12 mile routes will begin at the same time.

Registration

To register click “Register” at the top of the screen. Online registration will close on August 22nd at 11:59pm CT.

Limited walk-up registration will be made available on the morning of the ride.

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No refunds will be given under any circumstance, even upon event cancellation due to weather.

There is no age minimum to participate.

Registration costs remain the same regardless of whether you are participating in the 12 or 25 mile route.

  • One Bonus Terrace Level ticket to a mutually agreed-upon 2019 Brewers game
  • Complimentary bobblehead for each member
  • Teams of 10 or more adults will have each of their bonus tickets upgraded to Loge Level, and will receive a group tour of Miller Park on a mutually agreed-upon date

Hitting 4 the Cycle Timeline

Event Day

Saturday (8/24)’s Timeline:

  • 12:30pm- The Uecker Lot opens for participants to enter for Hitting 4 the Cycle. Walk-Up Registration, and Packet Pick-Up are made available under the Hitting 4 the Cycle tent in the northwest corner of the lot
  • 1:15pm- Riders begin to congregate near the starting line
  • 1:25pm- Cecelia Gore, Executive Director of Brewers Community Foundation (and other special guests) welcome riders
  • 1:30pm- Hitting 4 the Cycle officially begins. 12 and 25 mile routes will begin simultaneously
  • 3:30pm- Food begins being served at the tailgate party under the Hitting 4 the Cycle tent in the northwest corner of the Uecker Lot. Food continues to be served until 5:30pm
  • 5:00pm- Raffles hosted for Brewers and biking prizes
  • 6:00pm- Tailgate Party officially ends
  • 6:10pm- Brewers vs Diamondbacks game begins

Parking:

  • The Parking Lot being used for the ride is the Uecker Lot at Miller Park, located directly east of the stadium. 
  • Parking Lots will open at 12:30pm on Saturday. Please have your parking passes ready to be checked by parking attendants. 
  • Your complimentary parking pass allows you to remain in the lot throughout the duration of the tailgate party and the Brewers vs Diamondbacks game
  • Brewers Community Foundation staff will distribute parking passes to registrants as Hitting 4 the Cycle approaches

Starting Line:

  • The starting line will be located next to the Registration/Tailgate Tent in the northwest corner of the Uecker Lot
  • The 25 mile and 12 mile routes will begin in the same location, simultaneously

Course/Route:

  • The 2019 Hitting 4 the Cycle course map will be made available shortly.
  • There will be several rest stops along the route with complimentary refreshments for all.
  • Be sure to wear your Hitting 4 the Cycle wristband while riding to receive admittance to the rest stops. Wristbands will be distributed prior to the ride by Brewers Community Foundation staff.
  • The 25 mile and 12 mile routes are both out-and-backs and trace the same path. Riders may decide on the day of the ride whether they would like to partake in the 12 mile or 25 mile.

Medical Assistance/Bike Mechanics:

  • Medical assistance and bike mechanics will be available along the route.

After-Party: 

  • Upon completing the ride, each participant is invited to partake in a post-event tailgate party catered by Smoke Shack. The food will not begin being served until 3:30pm to allow everyone to take their time on the course and enjoy the ride. Food will continue to be served until 5:30pm.
  • Restrooms will be available at the Tailgate Haus, near the tailgate area
  • Each participant is automatically entered to win one of several Brewers and biking-themed prizes at the tailgate party. Must be present to win!
  • Bike Racks will be available for participants to store their bikes during the tailgate party, and during the Brewers vs Diamondbacks game. During the game, they will be watched by Brewers team security

Fundraising

  • Each participant 14 years or older is required to fundraise $50 beyond their registration fee prior to Hitting 4 the Cycle. Those who fail to do so will not be allowed to participate
  • Children 13 or under are not required to fundraise
  • There are several options for satisfying the requirement
    • Online fundraising- Utilize your online fundraising page to encourage friends and family to contribute toward your goal
